- LOCALIZATION
- You can change the interface language of each page by choosing the language in the drop-down option in the Translate menu.
- SEARCH
- You can search the content through both PUBLICATIONS and SEARCH ALL in the header. A search via PUBLICATIONS will group your results by publication and rank them by number of hits within each publication. From the PUBLICATIONS search results screen, you can dive into the list of hits within individual issues by clicking on Show Issues List. A search via SEARCH ALL will bring you directly to the sections within issues that contain your search term(s). On both search results screens, you can further refine your search by using the DATES and CONTENTS filter tabs.
- BROWSE
- You can begin browsing in three ways from the landing page: via the cover collage by clicking twice on any cover, via the featured zine section, and via the year snapshot. You can also browse by publication under PUBLICATIONS: just click on any cover there and then proceed to VIEW PUBLICATION on the sticky note popup.
- ISSUE DISPLAY AND NAVIGATION
- Articles are initially displayed in one panel, which provides the page image, an HTML transcript to the right, and an additional tab to perform a search within the issue. The Issues Tools are at the bottom of the page, including cite, translate, print, and share options.
- Two collapsible panels are provided on the right and left; you can display them by clicking the arrows. The left panel shows the table of contents of the publication. The right panel provides publication information. It also has Issue Tools to cite and print, and browse topics within the publication or the entire collection, and a Browse Topics function within the title and the collection. When you expand the right panel, the Transcript and Search in Issue tools move to the bottom.
